Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says it's impossible to give a price for an affordable home because properties vary depending on location.
He was answering a Tynwald question for written reply about affordable homes on the Island.
In his response, Mr Crookall said it's impossible to calculate market values because of the variables involved.
But he said the prescriptive affordable selling prices were £150,000 for a two-bedroomed flat, £175,000 for a two-bedroomed house, and £185,000 for a house with three bedrooms.
