Mark Cavendish wins his 2nd stage of Tour De France 2011

Cav victorious in the same stage he clinched his first Tour De France victory in, back in 2008

Mark Cavendish has done it again repeating history and winning the same stage that saw his first ever Tour De France win back in 2008.

It was a comprehensive victory for the Manxman, yet again supported to great effect by his HTC teammates.

It marks Cav’s 17th stage win in the Tour De France and the second of this tour.

British champion Bradley Wiggins crashed out of the tour in this stage with a suspected broken collarbone.
