Cav Disqualified for Dangerous Sprinting
Well after such a promising start Cav found himself disqualified out of Saturday’s event, for what was referred to as dangerous sprinting.
It was alleged he was singling out his main competitor Thor Hushovd and forcing him to ride dangerously close to the barriers.
Cav referred to it as the worst day he’s ever experienced on a bike.
There is now an 18 point deficit between Cav and Hushovd – a lead that would take a miracle to overturn.
