Manx Missile Mark Cavendish says it'll take a few weeks to recover after breaking his collarbone at the Tour de France.
He injured his right shoulder after a fall in stage eight of this year's race as he tried to achieve 35 career stage wins.
In an update on Instagram, Cav says the injury is complicated by screws implanted after a previous injury but he's confident he'll make a full recovery.
His team manager says despite the cyclist announcing his retirement at the end of this year, he's still hopeful Cav will stay on for next year's Tour.
