The public are invited to quiz Marine Experts today on the proposals to turn an area of Ramsey Bay into a Marine conservation area.
If the proposals got the go ahead a 40 square kilometre area of the bay would be closed off to scallop dredging and queenie trawlers in an effort to conserve the stocks.
Anyone wanting to know about the possible implications that this could have for the marine wildlife of the area is urged to attend.
Todays session will be held at Ramsey Town Hall, with one on Monday also.
