Only one daily sailing will take place from tomorrow due to industrial action.
The Steam Packet has announced it’s implementing a contingency timetable from tomorrow as the Manxman will be ‘undermanned for the next two weeks.’
It’s due to a rostered officer having to take unexpected leave for personal reasons, and no officers can swap shifts or cover the absence due to the action short of strike that’s taking place.
As a result, from tomorrow the Manxman will only sail from Douglas to Heysham at 8am and back at 2:15pm.
Freight will be maintained by Arrow.
All passengers affected will be contacted by the reservations team and offered transfers or full refunds.
