The Steam Packet Company says a crossing will be half an hour late today as it catches up following two cancellations yesterday.
The 1.45pm Heysham to Douglas Manxman sailing is now due to leave port at 2.15pm.
The company says it's to allow more time to load passengers and freight affected by disruption to crossings on Tuesday.
Last night, it called off two sailings because of gale force winds at sea.
