The Steam Packet's new vessel is set to face her first bout of stormy weather.
The Manxman is currently being constructed in South Korea, where a typhoon is expected to hit over the next few days.
According to the Steam Packet, winds of up to 100mph could hit the country in the strongest typhoon since records began.
The vessel will remain at the berth, which is well protected, and is 'secured to weather the storm.'
