We've had reports that The Manxman vessel has experienced engine difficulties on its crossing to Heysham today.
A passenger on board confirmed to 3FM that there seemed to be significant engine difficulties which led it to drift for nearly half an hour in sight of Blackpool.
He added, although now moving towards Heysham it seems to be in half power mode.
The Steam Packet are yet to comment.
