The Isle of Man Steam Packet's new vessel has now completed her initial sea trials.
The company says the Manxman, who has been built in South Korea, completed the tests over the weekend.
It involved testing a number of important systems including controls, navigation, radio and anchors.
Further trials to test speed, sound and vibration levels will be carried out closer to the vessel's completion.
The Manxman is due to enter service next year.
