Manx2 Take Over Vacant Newcastle Route

Newcastle Flights Taken Up by Manx2

Airline service Manx2 have come into the take over the Newcastle routes following Eastern Airways discontinuing their service at the end of the month.

The news was confirmed this week by Eastern Airways that they would be indefinitely removing their Birmingham and Newcastle services at the end of the month.

This was due to dwindling passenger figures for those services as a result of the current economic climate.

Manx2 have so far only committed to running the service until after the Christmas holidays, the company is currently in the process of making a long term plan to see how sustainable the route can be.

Although its been quiet of late the route to Newcastle and back is said to be essential for many businesses on and off Island.
