Manx2 Team In Cork Figuring Out How It Happened
The Chairman of Manx2.com has issued a statement regarding yesterday’s tragic crash in Cork.
The airline Chairman had been travelling throughout the day and only arrived back in the UK late in the afternoon.
He’s branded it a terrible day and expressed his sympathy for the families of those who lost their lives, and those who sustained injuries.
6 people died after the Manx2 aircraft crashed on it’s third attempt to land in severe fog.
The deceased have been confirmed as three British citizens, two Irish and a Spaniard.
Some of the dead are understood to be the crew and employees of the KPMG accountancy firm based in Belfast.
Mr Hayes has said members of his team have been in Cork liasing with the relevant authorities in an effort to ascertain what happened.
He finished by praising the emergency services in Cork, who he said were extremely quick and professional in their response.
