The Isle of Man has an unemployment rate of 2.5 per cent.
Figures released today show there were 1,117 people out of work at the end of November.
During the month, 198 people signed on and 145 people signed off – an increase of 53.
Of the people not working, 779 are men and 338 are women.
Last month, 481 vacancies were notified to the Job Centre – there were 280 positions which went unfilled.
