Rental standards on the Isle of Man are 'stuck in the last century.'
That's according to community organization the Manx Tenants' Union, which fights for the rights of local tenants.
The group claims that tenants here have fewer rights than those anywhere else in Western Europe.
The comments come following a case of a landlord evicting a family after 22 years due to damp conditions in the property.
It's calling for MHKs to 'get to work on providing decent rental regulations.'
