Manx Telecom has announced it's beginning to switch off its copper network from next year.
The company says it's aiming for a full transition to fibre broadband by 2029.
The move is part of a £50 million investment to enhance connectivity around the Island.
It says 90% of homes and businesses can now access fibre broadband.
