Manx teens are going to take part in an International Survey about drink and drugs.
The European School Survey Project on Alcohol and other Drugs assesses major national variations in teenage alcohol-related problems, illicit drug use and tobacco smoking.
In 2009 it was found that over 60% of island teenagers were drinking to excess, one of the highest figures in Europe.
Forty countries will be taking part in the survey.
Letters with details about this year’s survey will soon be sent out from the Department of Education and Children to all parents of all 15-16 year olds in the Island’s schools.
