Next year's Manx Youth Games is keeping the environment in mind.
Children taking part will wear new 'eco-friendly' shirts made from recycled plastic bottles.
Participants are now invited to choose the design - three are available to vote for, with the winning design being unveiled at the event's launch on January 24.
Each shirt will be made from approximately 16 recycled plastic bottles that have been melted down to produce a fine yarn, which is then used to make the shirt.
The Sporting Club Manx Youth Games is the Island's largest multi-sport event for young people, where children take part in a series of expert led training sessions before taking part in the main competition in May.
