A primary School pupil from the Isle of Man has been personally invited, by the Queen, to the Royal Maundy Service.
In April, the Queen will present specially minted silver coins, to a hand full of pensioners who have made a "significant contribution” to Church or civic life.
Ben, a year 4 pupil, at St. Thomas's received a letter from the Queen saying he had been chosen as a special helper for Her Majesty at Westminster Abbey.
The 9 year old is just one of only four children chosen from the state and Church Schools to assist the Queen on the historic day.
