Manx police force has 'close eye' on degree proposals

The Isle of Man Constabulary says it's keeping a 'very close eye' on changes to policing in England and Wales.

Last week the College of Policing announced that from 2020 newly recruited cops will have to be educated to degree level. 
 
The college has attributed the change to the fact that police work has changed significantly with officers now spending more time on complex cases.
