Manx Telecom says the Manx.net email service has now been restored.
Engineers have been working on an issue over the past two days which meant messages were going into mailboxes but the mailboxes weren't accessible.
However, MT states emails will recover to individual mailboxes over the rest of the day and they'll continue to monitor the situation as a precaution.
The company is thanking customers for their patience and is apologising for any inconvenience caused.
