A South Douglas MHK is questioning whether Manx should be recognised as a nationality.
Bill Malarkey will raise the subject in the House of Keys this morning - he'll ask the Chief Minister whether any steps can be taken so it's recognised worldwide.
His question follows an angry reaction to the interim census which people were asked to fill out on Sunday night.
The document didn't give people the option to select Manx as a nationality - it's because the Isle of Man is recognised as British in international law.
