Sir Mark Cavendish has received a Lifetime Achievement award and won sportsman of the year for 2024 at The Mezzo Isle of Man Sports Awards.
The awards took place at the Villa Marina in Douglas, where Sir Mark was presented his awards.
The 39 year old has won 165 professional races, including 35 stages at the Tour de France in his outstanding career.
The Manx Missile said that it is 'very, very special to receive these awards' and paid tribute to the National Sports Centre in Douglas, where he started his cycling career.
