Manx minicar up for auction

A record-breaking Manx car will go under the hammer in America today - and could fetch more than £90,000.

The 1964 Peel P50, one of only around 30 surviving examples, will be auctioned by RM Sotheby's Monterey in California.

The P50s were built by the Peel Engineering Company and previous auctions have seen them sell for as much as £137,000.

The vehicles hold the world record for being the smallest ever production cars.
