Manx language App nominated for Celtic award

Culture Vannin's Manx language App has been nominated for an award at the Celtic Media Festival.

It's been nominated for 'Best App' at the awards in April in Cornwall.

Available on GooglePlay and iTunes, the app is based on Culture Vannin's adult course; providing a comprehensive introduction to the language for people of all levels.

The Celtic Media Festival's aim is to promote the languages and cultures of the Celtic countries through film and broadcasting.

App developer and Manx language officer Adrian Caine says the competition is impressive:
