Manx Labour Party welcomes housing review

The Manx Labour Party will be participating in the Department of Social Care’s Housing Policy Review consultation.

Ultimately, they say they’re looking for a fair system in an inclusive society.

As it stands there are 1,400 people waiting for public authority housing, 400 for sheltered accommodation and 900 on the list for first-time buyer accommodation.

We found out more when we spoke to the party’s chairman David Cretney (see audio).
