The Manx Labour Party 'stands resolutely with the LGBT community, parents and educators.'
That's according to a statement issued by the party, following 'misinformation that had been spread for the sake of demonising a vulnerable minority.'
It comes following a bomb threat directed at QEII High School and staff receiving 'malicious comments' due to the sex education curriculum and claims a drag queen led a lesson.
The political group says 'exploiting the fears of parents to spread hate is poisonous,' and our institutions should 'do more.'
It adds that it firmly stands with the LGBT community at this time.
