Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioners say the heather was gathered from the foothills of South Barrule.
Stretching from Ballakilley in Rushen to Ballawhetstone in Arbory, the bouquets wrapped in black ribbon have been placed in preparation for the Queen's funeral on Monday.
Commissioners invite anyone who lives in the area and has a lamppost near their home to add one of their own.
