Manx Gas says changes to its billing system are designed to help people budget.
LPG customers will now pay the standing charge quarterly instead of each time they receive a delivery.
The company says it'll mean those with long delays between deliveries won't be hit with huge bills.
Meanwhile, those paying through the Post Office will now have to present their bill so a bar code can be scanned - each code can be used multiple times, meaning people can make many smaller payments with them.
