Manx Gas has today announced a significant hike in Gas Prices.
The increase is again being attributed to the unprecedented rise in the cost of bringing in Liquid Petroleum Gas, which has recently jumped 30% in price.
The average cost increase per year for LPG customers is going to be an additional £115, and Manx Gas have said the increases show no sign of slowing any time soon.
Customers on the natural gas tariffs will incur an additional £53.00 a year.
It's a 9% increase for Natural Gas Star Saver Tariff, and the fuel cost adjustment for LPG Star Saver is 14.1%.
Manx Gas Managing Director Tony Nicholls has said they will continue to review wholesale prices throughout the coming months to ensure their prices reflect prices on the energy markets.
