Two UK-commissioned next-generation ships under construction will have Isle of Man flags when in service.
The battery-hybrid Commissioning Service Operation Vessels are being built by UK-based ship owner Purus, which provides maritime services for gas transport and offshore wind industries.
The Island's Ship Registry is providing advice to Purus during the construction.
The first CSOV will be delivered in 2025, with the second vessel’s delivery in 2026.
