A Manx film has been nominated for an award at a British film festival.
The short movie - called 'Manannan's Tribute' - will be in the 'short form' category for the Celtic Media Festival taking place in June.
The film - produced by Culture Vannin and directed by Brook Wassall - follows the story of a family as they carry out the ancient Manx custom of taking rushes up South Barrule as an annual payment to Manannan on the eve of Tynwald Day.
Meanwhile the festival is an annual three-day event promoting languages and cultures of Celtic nations and regions - it'll take place this year in Aviemore in Scotland.
