The Island's Aircraft Registry being named as the 'best global aviation registry' will 'unquestionably' help the Manx economy.
That's according to the director of civil aviation who says the Island should be 'genuinely proud' of what has been achieved as a centre of excellence.
The Aircraft Registry was set up 10 years ago and has grown to be the sixth biggest in the world.
