Next year's Manx Classic Hill Climb won't be going ahead, according to organisers.
The event organised by Longton & District Motor Club sees classic cars tackling climbs at Lhergy Frissell, the Sloc and Creg Willeys, and was due to take place in April.
However, clerk of the course Graham Tetley says the cost and resources of road closures, safety cover, medical provision, marshalling, insurance, and logistics make the event unsustainable this year.
In a statement, he added plans are being made for the event to take place in 2027.
He's thanked competitors, volunteers, sponsors, residents, and supporters and says further information will be shared when it's available.
