Manx Care has signed a new contract with the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
The service had been in danger of being scrapped in a row about funding amid financial problems at Manx Care.
However, this morning both announced they'd signed a 12-month agreement, starting in April, to transport critically ill and injured people.
Manx Care will pay for each flight, while the UK-based service will strengthen fundraising on the Island.
