Manx Care's announced it's expanding a new mental health service to nine more GP practices.
It follows a successful pilot scheme for the Mental Health First Contact Practitioner programme.
The service aims to get more people early access to mental health support, and ease pressure on GP appointments.
The health service says specialist practitioners will be able to assess people and offer short-term care for conditions like anxiety, stress and low mood - without seeing a doctor first.
