Visiting restrictions are being put in place across Manx Care settings due to the current spread of Covid-19 within the community along with staff absences.
Tomorrow all outpatient appointments will be cancelled unless they’re clinically urgent, and from Tuesday January 4 all appointments will be over the phone for an initial period of two weeks.
Those affected by the changes will be directly contacted by Manx Care.
Visiting in hospitals and some social care settings will also be suspended for the next two weeks.
Residential Care Homes will also be affected by this, with the following homes closing to non-essential visitors for 14 days:
Reayrt Ny Baie – Douglas
Southlands – Port St Mary
Cummal Mooar – Ramsey
Langness/Gansey – Port St Mary
Thie Meanagh/Sweetbriar – Douglas
Reayrt Skyal - Ramsey
