The latest round of cancellations to Steam Packet crossings have added increased pressure on Manx businesses ahead of the busy Christmas period.
The ferry company has said deliveries to priority freight is virtually up to speed, but this still leaves local retailers in a potentially devastating economic position over the next month.
We spoke to two popular island businesses who shared their concerns over the current situation with commercial deliveries.
Firstly, showroom manager at B&B Furniture Mark Cannell said the catalogue of ferry cancellations could well cost the company massively.
And manager of HMV in Douglas Peter McMurray expressed his dismay of a seeming complete lack of a plan B from the Steam Packet (see audio).
