An Island vessel has secured a 12 month contract in the Channel Islands.
The Steam Packet Company's freight vessel, Arrow, will operate the Jersey to Portsmouth route with the international operator DFDS.
The charter agreement comes into effect on Monday, March 24 with the Arrow completing port trials before entering regular service.
The Managing Director at the Steam Packet Company Brian Thompson says the deal gives his company security whilst the future fleet strategy is being discussed.
