The Advocate who represented a couple who are behind bars for fraud has been found guilty of money laundering.
Jenny Dee Holt, was convicted of money laundering in relation to £400,000 which was stolen by Trevor Baines and his wife Wendy from Hermitage Securities Limited in order to fund their legal fees.
The 30 year old was also convicted of creating false records.
She was part of a team that represented the Baines when they were on trail in 2009.
Police say this conviction sends out the message that the Island will not be seen as a safe haven for money laundering.
All three will be sentenced next month.
