Man's seven Tynwald petitions 'out of order'

A man from Peel has seen seven of his Tynwald petitions thrown out.

Trevor Cowin presented nine petitions for redress of grievance during this year's Tynwald Day ceremony.

A report from Tynwald's Standing Orders Committee says seven of those have been found to be not in order.

But two petitions - about the demolition of Glenfaba House and the rights to address planners - were found to have followed the rules.
