A man who wrongly claimed more than £31,000 in benefits while continuing to work will be sentenced in September.
William Michael Corrin of Derby Road in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 38 year old admitted three counts of making false representations to obtain benefits and seven of failing to inform officials of change in circumstances.
Prosecutor Barry Swain said Corrin had failed to declare work he'd been doing while he was claiming incapacity benefit and income support.
Mrs Hughes bailed him in the sum of £500 and he's due to appear for sentencing on September 5.
