A man who punched his partner's TV and threw it out of her front door has been fined.
Ian Derek Brown of Magher Breek in Peel appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 30 year old admitted one count of criminal damage at his home address on June 1.
The court heard he got into a row with his girlfriend shortly before midnight about loud music he was playing.
The court heard he threw a bottle out of the living room window before he punched the television and tried to throw it out of a window, too.
When he failed, he threw it out of the front door - when police arrived he was crying and remorseful.
Magistrates placed him on probation for 12 months and ordered him to pay £125 costs and £200 compensation.
