A man who kicked another man in the head and stamped on him will be sentenced in a Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Connor Lloyd Jackson of Pulrose Road in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm on May 1 this year.
The court heard the 24 year old had launched a flurry of punches and kicks, and Mrs Hughes said the case was too serious to be dealt with in a summary court.
She remanded Jackson in custody and committed him to the higher court for sentencing on July 16.
