Ashley Graham Kelly of Strand Street in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 31 year old admitted being drunk and disorderly on Market Street in Douglas on June 24.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing police were called just after 2.30am to the Premier Inn, where staff were trying to prevent Kelly entering.
When officers arrived he was abusive and was arrested.
After hearing Kelly had numerous alcohol-related convictions, Mrs Hughes fined him £300 and ordered him to pay £125 costs as well as banning him from entering licensed premises or buying booze.
He was also re-sentenced for a drink-driving offence in 2020, and fined £800 after explaining he couldn’t complete a community service order.
