A man’s been warned he could be facing a prison sentence after breaking lockdown rules for the second time.
Liam Priestnal of Lheannag Park in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to breaching coronavirus rules on January 25 but a second charge of being at an illegal gathering was withdrawn.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing the 26 year old was found at his friend’s home in Anagh Coar Road after police were called by worried neighbours.
Priestnal, who was jailed for a similar offence last April, said he’d only gone inside to collect a phone charger.
Magistrates adjourned the case until June 3 for pre-sentencing reports to be prepared, and bailed Priestnal to appear again on that date.
