A Douglas man has been charged with wounding after causing serious injury to another man.
At 10.45pm on Friday police were called to a property on Mona Street in Douglas - on arrival they found a man with serious injuries.
Paramedics attended the scene before the man was transferred to Noble's Hospital for treatment - his injuries are believed to be serious but no longer life threatening.
A 30-year-old man was later arrested and has been charged with wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm - he will appear at Douglas Courthouse today.
Police are asking anyone who has any information about the incident to contact Police Headquarters.
