A man who was caught with heroin has been fined.
45 year old Brian Paul Wootton threw the drug out of a window after police arrived at his home at Demesne Road in Douglas on April 15.
A one-gramme wrap worth £109 was found in his yard.
After pleading guilty to the possession charge, Wootton was fined £500 and ordered to pay £125 prosecution costs.
