An appeal has gone out for information after an attack left a man with head injuries.
The incident happened on Demesne Road in Douglas between 1am and 1.30am on New Year’s Day.
The injured man is still in Noble's Hospital where he's receiving treatment for his injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the stated times to come forward and assist with the investigation.
