A 61-year-old man has been seriously injured and flown off-Island for medical treatment following an assault in Douglas.
Police say the incident happened at around 10.15pm last Saturday (April 9) at the junction of Castle Street and Senna Road in the capital.
Now the constabulary is appealing for information - asking anyone who witnessed the altercation to come forward.
It follows an initial appeal from Police to identify the man suspected of the assault - the man was found and arrested - but has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Now, police want to speak directly to witnesses of the assault - if you have any information, you're asked to contact Police HQ on 631212.
