A man’s been remanded in custody over allegations he stamped on his girlfriend’s head and punched her.
Paul Allan Bollon of Heather Crescent in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks via a live videolink from prison.
The 36-year-old hasn’t yet entered a plea to a single charge of causing actual bodily harm on January 15.
Prosecutor Hazel Carroon told the hearing after an argument at home his alleged victim went to a friend’s house, but Mr Bollon’s said to have followed her before launching the attack.
Mr Brooks denied a bail application and remanded Mr Bollon in prison to appear again on February 22.
